In February 2020, Multistampa installed a CARTES GT360 printing and embellishment line. The move was intended to upgrade a screen printing unit for embellishment. According to Multistampa, it was “Love at First Sight.”

Shortly after, the converter installed three more Cartes lines, one of which is fully equipped with a digital embellishment system. Jet D-Screen was recognized as one of the industry’s best technological innovation in 2023. The introduction of Cartes technology led to exponential growth for Multistampa, which, in just about two years, has tripled its turnover.

The modern Multistampa

Today, Multistampa is preparing to install its sixth Cartes machine. The new machine is a GEMINI GE364 E-LINE, combining digital embellishment units like Jet D- Screen (JDS), patented Laser diecutting, inspection and packaging systems, along with a highly efficient semi-automatic roll change system at the output.

“In the past five years, we have embarked on a challenging journey in terms of quality investments and innovative growth,” confirms Daniele Lelli, co-owner of Multistampa. “The expansion of our production site, including the installation of an additional photovoltaic system, will be completed shortly. And our next goal will be focused on sustainability and ISO14064 certification.”

“With these important goals, the energy efficiency made possible by Cartes technologies allows us to recover 30% of energy consumption, a highly significant figure for achieving certification and moving towards sustainability,” adds Lelli.
